The '91 ran last time with only one functional subframe bolt, so it should
do fine!!
Yep, chaining t down would work just fine for your purposes.
Glad you can make it!!

Okay. The s/o and I will be there. We're going to leave for home after
dinner Saturday, but we'll be there. Not sure what car to bring though. The
99 is pretty 'static' insofar as what it'll likely do. I haven't done much
of anything to it since the last time I had it at Lapeer, so I wouldn't
expect much difference in ET's. Plus, with it being an ATX, there's little
variation from one run to the next so what's the point?
The 91 needs a front motor mount. It bangs the engine/tranny pretty good if
I get to aggressive with it so I wouldn't be able to really wring it out. I
wonder if I could chain the front motor mount to limit movement? Hmm, that
may work good enough to allow me to run it this weekend? I really want to
run this car! When it was in it's various stages of disrepair under Staley's
ownership, it was still getting 98mph traps with 14.8x's. I'd love to get
this thing into a 14.6 or 14.5. The traps are there for good ET's. Just need
to nail the launch!
