I sorta straddle the middle between Dave and Ian.

If you want to rely on AZ for all of your needs, they are less than desirable.

I have a NAPA nearby (Dave Pillsbury's favorite shop here in Oxford), plus there is an Autolite parts store nearby.....a typical, old-school grimey shop that has oddball stuff I need, like the drain plug for my '99 AX4N tranny pan, oil pan drain plugs (std & magnetic), and bins of metric bolts/nuts/washers.

Plus, a new Murray's just opened up down the street from AZ, and they have a better selection of car care products, so I just use AZ as a part of a car store network for the typivcal stuff I need.

So far I have had nothing but positive experiences
with AZ. OTOH, I hate pep boys. I've been meaning to
write a letter to their district manager for some time
now...
