[Shotimes] iPod and Pioneer Car Stereo

Many of you know how much I favor the iPod for listening to music in the
car. My son's 95M came with a Pioneer DEH-8000R head unit, which is old
by today's standards, but it was close to the top of the line back in the
day. This HU has the IP-bus propietary interface that was only used
previously for things like a multi-CD changer, but Pioneer just came out
with a new device (CD-IB100) to allow it to be connected directly to the
iPod and allows decent use of the native HU controls to operate the iPod,
plus provides power to the iPod. Very very very cool.
This will probably put me over the edge to replace the factory head unit
in my 92. The new high-end Pioneer's actually have the iPod connector
built-in which saves buying the extra device mentioned above.
