[Shotimes] OT - SLO alternator belt

My daughter's best friend has a '92 SLO and it dropped the alternator belt.
Since neither he Dad or her step-Dad have a clue about cars, I volunteered
to help her out. I haven't actually seen the car yet but wanted some idea
what to expect. Is it a serpentine belt like on the SHO? If so, what are the
odds that the tensioner let go vs just a crappy belt? Any tricks to changing
it?
