[Shotimes] am I being taken advantage of

When I took in my '91 to a local shop recently they charged me less than 
an hour to remove a shim from the A/C clutch.  They didn't have to drop 
the subframe.  Would changing the entire clutch be that much more work?  
I don't know.

Removing the shim was all my system needed to work just fine.
