[Shotimes] front brake options for Sr 72 ?

There has been some recent talk of the bremo kit on the shoforum. This kit requires 50mm of clearance between the face of the rotor and the back of the wheel spokes though. That is a huge amount of space and just about impossible to get on a wheel that will still fit insde the SHO fenders.

Someone actually bought the kit and the caliper did bolt directly onto the spindle, just didnjt have enough clearance on the wheel.

The kit Don M is tlking about may be a good alternative, but it still uses the heavy 96 rotor. The TCE wilwood kit is still probably they best kit to get, the Baer kit is good too, but unless you get it used at a good price like I did, the TCE kit is actually more affordable i the end.

PS. Ford Racing? Sells the brembo kit from the Mustang
Cobra-R to fit other SN95 Mustangs. I've often
theorized that this will fit our 94-95 spindles if the
rotors are redrilled for 5x108. Lately I've seen/heard
of people running this setup on T-birds so I'm pretty
confident that it will work on the SHO.

However at $1100 you get a 1 piece rotor and a wimpy 4
piston brembo. I think that Todd Cook's Wilwood setup
with a 1.1" rotor is a better way to go for a similar
price.

If you really want to step up, Brembo's Gran Turismo
kit for the Mustang should also fit but that's close
to $5G and requires 17's minumum.
