[Shotimes] front brake options for Sr 72 ?

I have that setup on my car from TCE, it was called the Shostopper Jr,
picked mine up thru Josh at SHOnut. I love them, they are noisy from my pad
choice, withy my car it seems to be sort of a 3 level braking. At first they
feel like normal brakes when you apply very very light pressure, then a
little more pressure they bite in hard, then mash the brakes the ABS kicks
on real quick even with summer tires and hot pavement.

I swear even with the street pads I think I'm almost lifting my back wheels
off the ground. I think with your lighter SR 72 car they would be IDEAL for
everything, whereas for me they might be a little to light for track use if
I ever get my shit together and get to track my car. If I end up turboing my
car over the winter I'll be pulling the jr kit off in favor of Todd's big
1.1in thick setup.

Don,

The system from Todd that has I think Wilwood calipers that will mount to
the 96 upgrade parts with just a minor grinding of a flat spot on the
caliper mounts. I did this to my '89, but the system has calipers that are
thicker than stock and my ninja turtle race wheels would not fit without a
spacer, and I wasn't comfortable using a spacer between the wheel and brake
disk. Most aftermarket wheels will work though without the spacer. If you
have about 3/4" of space between the caliper and rim with the 96 brake
upgrade, then you should be able to use this system.
It is a four piston setup. takes some fiddling to get the caliper exactly
centered, but should be a very good upgrade, and no other mods needed.

I may still do it some day, but I love those ninja turtle wheels, and hate
to give them up.
