[Shotimes] what size O ring on valve cover bolt?

I've heard a few people mention that O rings can be
used underneath the rubber valve cover grommets as an
extra seal. I've also been told that powdercoated
valve covers tend to leak more than painted ones?

Does anyone know what size O ring to use? Are these
installed between the valve cover and the rubber
grommet?
