[Shotimes] Source for halfshafts & replacing

Greetings,

    While changing the oil in my brother's '91 today I noticed that the 
halfshaft rubber boot is torn on one side, and the other side looks like it 
is going to split soon.  I was wondering if it was even worth trying to 
replace the boots, or if I should just go ahead and replace the halfshafts. 
For that matter, is there a good place to pick them up cheap, and how long 
should it take me?  I remember removing them during the clutch job on my '95 
but I forget all of what needs to be done just to simply pull them.
