[Shotimes] special tool for fuel tank ring?

I've found that a door remover (one of those tools that fits over the
plastic pushpin thingies that hold the door in and then you pry them
out) is a fantastically good tool for that. It's angled so you can hit
the ring straight-on, and it's notched in the middle so it won't slide
off and go through anything else! That tool has been quite possibly the
most useful tool I've purchased in a long while.

Is there a special tool for removing the retaining ring that holds in
place
the fuel pump and sender? Please suggest a source. I'd like to be able
to
buy it locally tomorrow, so I can get a car back on the road. Thanks.
