Yea, I can understand the too far north thing. Most people that live in
the New Orleans area like and are used to year round warmth. I don't
blame them for not wanting to come to snowmobile/ice territory.
I do understand why they would not want to get farther from home, and I
do understand that many of them are in shock and think they can just go
home next week. Reality will have to set in soon though.
One reporter on TV said..."These people had nothing and now they have
less". Gotta love reporters that use up all their extreme language and
are left with stupid things to say.
On the other side of that coin is the interview with one of those people
that had "nothing". While he was still roaming around New Orleans (may
still be) he told one reporter that he was much better off now, he had
stashes of food, clothing and more that he never had (looting). Not
everyone is in shock and not everyone is innocent.
