[Shotimes] Code 542 and 538?

I just pulled my codes for the first time (KOEO and KOER) and got a nice 111
for the EO but a 542 (Fuel pump secondary circuit failure.) and 538
"Operator error (dynamic response / cylinder balance tests)" for the ER.
What does the 542 mean, and should I be worried about it? The reason I
pulled the codes is because my engine's been runing rough at idle and I was
thinking maybe one of my cylinders was dead. I got the 538 before ever
trying the cylinder balance test, so what would that mean? Also, I tried to
run the cylinder balance test by hitting WOT for a second after the first
codes were displayed, but nothing ever happened. You are supposed to wait
until the codes are shown before flooring it, right?
