Yep. Do O2s, and the plugs & wires.

Not too expensive, and it's a good start.

You might also just "carefully" clean the hot wire in the MAF, and make sure
that the MAF plug contacts into the airbox are clean and well seated.

Subject: [Shotimes] Misfire under 3k rpm

I have noticed as of late that my MTX has been misfireing when i go to WOT
in second below 3k. As soon as it hits around 3,000 or better, the car bucks
two or three times and pulls like its boosted. I checked the front 3 plug
wells and found nothign but a lil bit of dust in them. I am thinking that
the car needs a new set of spark plugs and maybe wires as well. The engine
is from a 90 or 91 SHO and i dont think it has had a 60k done to it in a
while. It is still smoking on start up (blue smoke) and it tends to run a
little rich (noticebale black smoke) in the upper RPM range due to bad O2s.
I lack the money and time to do a complete 60k at this time so do you think
a quick swap of some plugs and wires might help a bit or am I wasting my
time and money?

Thanks for the advice,
