The parking brake adjustment is under the drivers seat under your
SHO. Soak the big long screw adjuster with PBBlaster and loosen
it until you can unhook the cables off of the calipers.
Try a propane torch on the bracket that holds the pins. Use a vise
grip and work it loose a little at a time. You might have to get
a new bracket, but I don't think that it is very expensive. Be sure
to get new pins & seals. Lube them well when putting things back
together.
Auto Zone has a decent price on reman. calipers and they have a lifetime
warranty. If you need new brake cables, try RockAuto. They had
both cables here in 2 days. Thinking $35 each.
I have had booth the caliper and the cables hang, as well as frozen
pins. Neither is a hard fix.
Remember to loosen the bleed screw and catch the brake fluid with
a hose and can while you push and turn the brake piston. Maybe AutoZone
will rent you the piston turning tool? I and many others on this
list have improvised these tools. Mine is a ground down ball joint
"pickle fork" that I lock a vise grip onto.
