FYI, the last track day I attended I counted 9 Elises.
 One got totalled(we think) when a WRX ran into it. 
Quite the fluke, but the WRX actually looked much
worse.  They might be able to fix the Lotus, as most
of the body panels are plastic anyway.  The WRX had
more body damage and none of the 4 wheels were
pointing the same direction.

So for a "kit-car" the Lotus held up rather well. 
Seeing a shattered Lotus being pulled off the track
almost made me cry...
