Thanks George, I really appreciate the detail.
The ground wire is definitely there, I wanted to make
100% sure I wasn't confusing it with what should be
the power wire. Because, obviously, if I did bad
things would happen. ;)
I think the connector you are describing is simply not
there. It must have gotten cut or somehow otherwise
removed. I took the battery and everything out and
traced the cables, jacked the car up, looked up in
from below, scoured the top and looked very hard for
it. However, I did find a round connector over near
the IRCM that has nothing plugged into it. I would
venture to guess that is where that power wire is
supposed to go. However, there is no smaller wire
adjacent to my power cables to reach over there. :(
So, I must be missing a wire or something. I'm going
to have to dig through all my parts and see if I can
find it. If not, I think a trip to the junkyard might
be in order.
If sending pictures wouldn't be too much trouble, I
would really appreciate it just to make sure I fully
understand what I'm looking for (especially if I go
pull one).
