I just checked.  I should have known....maybe I did, despite what JVO said.  I just
haven't been under the hood of the car lately, as opposed to under the carpet and
under the dash.  It goes to the negative battery terminal.  It grounds the chassis
to the battery, and for good measure, takes the ground from the PCM directly to the
battery terminal, so that there is a minimum of resistance between the PCM and the
battery, just like there is a minimum of resistance between the hot terminal and the
PCM supply.

I think I am glad I have Gen 1 cars....trying to fool with all those fuses under the
hood....imagine the wiring madness that is under those fuse boxes.  The fuse box
under the dash is bad enough.  Plus, remember the Ford moron who ran the power to
the IRCM or something else just as important through the overflow bottle
sensor.....duhhhh!!
