[Shotimes] gas tanks

Someone else should chime in, but I believe all Tauri fuel tanks will fit your SHO. At least any tank from 89 - 95, that is.
Before assuming it's the tank, maybe you should check to see if the fuel filter or a line may be leaking. If it is the tank, why
not just go to a junkyard to get a replacement? In this part of the country (se PA) fuel tanks don't rust away very often. The
junk yards are full of old Tauri with perfectly fine tanks.

Subject: Re: [Shotimes] gas tanks

I am starting to smell fumes and find some drippage under the car. Looks
like the rust fairy has visited my gas tank. Haven't checked yet but I
assume it is the tank since it is worse when full and is probably the
original 1995 tank.
Does anybody know of a source for a replacement at a reasonable price?
So far I have found a new one for $110. but only with a 3 year warranty.

When I had my probe I got a reman with a lifetime guarantee but now the
same company doesn't stock one for the sho and while they can redo mine
(with a lifetime) it will take a week and cost about $60.00 more. I like
the longer guarantee because I keep cars a long time and here in
Vermont I have had to replace tanks on several cars more than once.
So, any sources I should check? I suspect that with the age of our cars
there must be lots of people who have had the same problem by this time.
