Regarding the northern SHO drivers (or any other car being driven in winters), it's well worth the $60-$100 IMO to get your car's body/chassis etc. sprayed/oiled yearly or bi-yearly to make the car last. My SHO is now in it's 18th year and the Krown Rust control certainly has played a big roll in extending it's life/beauty.

I am starting to smell fumes and find some drippage under the car. Looks
like the rust fairy has visited my gas tank. Haven't checked yet but I
assume it is the tank since it is worse when full and is probably the
original 1995 tank.
Does anybody know of a source for a replacement at a reasonable price?
So far I have found a new one for $110. but only with a 3 year warranty.

When I had my probe I got a reman with a lifetime guarantee but now the
same company doesn't stock one for the sho and while they can redo mine
(with a lifetime) it will take a week and cost about $60.00 more. I like
the longer guarantee because I keep cars a long time and here in
Vermont I have had to replace tanks on several cars more than once.
So, any sources I should check? I suspect that with the age of our cars
there must be lots of people who have had the same problem by this time.
