[Shotimes] CD Changer wont eject cartridge and E-99 on the remote

The 10 disk changer in the trunk is acting a little weird...Its say E-99 on
the remote in the car and the cartridge wont eject...I recently reset the
computer, meaning I disconnected the battery, would that have anything to do
with it? I remember a while back the fuse blew for the CD changer (Which is
located right beside the actual changer behind the trunk carpetting) and the
remote inside to car didnt work at all, now the remote works but it says
E-99...

Any thoughts?

PS. This is a Ford unit...Its not aftermarket...
