Repeating VO,

I welcome you to the SHO community... We all either have, or had SHOs, and a
few may lurk around wanting them still.  Some of us are less smart and have
several lying about in various states of broken.

You will find the SHO is a high maintnance car, especially one that has been
neglected on service.  Unfortunately clutches, 60k services, and all sorts
of other stuff is just mind bogglingly too expensive.  The reality is that
unless pockets are deep, it's really to your advantage to do your own work
on SHOs.  I have probably saves tens of thousands in labor doing my own
work.

I'm with VO, a good start is a 60k service.... It would be due at 120k
anyway, so you would be about 8k early, and being ahead of the game is
good.  As far as modifying the car, it applies to any car, but the more you
modify the lower the reliability of that car (in general).  Many of us do
not rely on our SHOs for daily transportation and we can enjoy them but not
require them.  I did that by getting 2, one that's totally stock... and one
that's well modified....  And for the first time ina month I drove one of
them yesterday :)  Been spending too much time on the new bike.

Are there any known issues, and like VO said where are you located?  we're
pretty good at lending hands around here for advice or help, so if your
close by to someone that's the best.
