[Shotimes] Autocross a SHO

Don, of course the car matters. Any given driver would get through an
autocross course faster in a Miata than they would an 85 Buick. And it
would be a hell of a lot easier in the Miata as well. I understand the
importance you're trying to place on driver's skill, and you're right,
it's a big factor, but let's be realistic. The car matters quite a bit.

YES! This is what I was waiting to hear from someone about autocross.
The car doesn't matter. Driver skill, at least till you get to and
beyond the regional level is much more important than the car, tires or
preparation. Drive what you got and enjoy it. Learn the basics, learn
from the fast drivers, most will share secrets till you start beating
them! :)
