[Shotimes] OT SIU Cheerleader more famous than team

How proud it makes this Saluki Alum to know that we have the most famous 
and dedicated cheerleaders in the land, even if they are a bit clumsy!

That girl that wouldn't quit cheering after breaking her back and 
getting a concussion after a tumble from a pyramid, made all the 
headlines while the Southern Illinois University (at Carbondale, IL) 
Saluki basketball team championship tourney win in the 6th strongest 
conference in the US (Missouri Valley) according to the RPI, was just a 
footnote.

SIU has made the big dance 5 years in a row, making the sweet sixteen a 
couple times I think.  The Missouri Valley might get a touch more 
respect this year having 5 teams in the top 42 in the RPI and a chance 
at more than three teams in the tourney.  Should be interesting.  My 
Saluki's will probably break my heart again, and also the Illini 
probably won't make it to the championship, but both have had more than 
respectable seasons.

Be fun to watch.
