Ammonia will dissolve the tinting glue. Plain ol' Windex may be enough. Just spray it on and let it soak for a bit.

I got the spoiler installed today. It was nerve wracking drilling holes in that
nice shiny decklid, but it worked out....the spoiler is on, and it looks good. I
got this spoiler from Al Fitz in 1998!!!!!
Mirrors are painted, and will go on tomorrow. The new interior panels for the doors
have been located, and will go on as well. I've had them and all the plastic pieces
since 1999. I jammed the trucklid while I was working on the spoiler, and that
wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I need lots of masking paper to do the
doors and door jams....got lots of area to cover and protect. I have an almost new
trunk liner....looks like it was produced yesterday.
It is being wired up for tunes....after the main power cable, changer cable and RCAs
go in from the front to the rear, the carpet, console and front seats can go in.
Then it will start feeling like an actual car again. Speakers are still in
Lowrider, along with some other wiring I want to get.
Lowrider's keyless entry module has been swapped into this one.....I'm going to
exchange all the key tumblers, too. Need a little heritage to keep the tradition
going.
New windshield will go in on Friday. The side windows all had tons of tinting on
them, which was half off.....I may have to change all the side windows. The tint is
off, but the glue is still there. Need to ask the tinting shop the best thing to
do. Back window is waiting for the stereo work to be done....with it out, the rear
deck is SO easy to get to.
It's coming along....suspension won't go in for a couple of months....I tore a
rotator cuff doing another suspension job in February, and that HURTS!!!
