I think roughly the same goes for PayPal. I've gotten a few bogus e-mails
from I believe what you guys are calling phishers. They're from non-PayPal
sources and are looking for credit card numbers etc. You can forward those
emails to PayPal for them to investigate. They have some tips on how to spot
such emails on their website.
