There had to be a connection 'tween fine old Scotch whiskey and fine old Brit
cars and I've found it on this list.  I enjoyed a Scotch whiskey tasting held in
conjunction with a Highland Games weekend several years back.  The tasting  led
to vote and the winner was  . . .DALMORE 12 year.  It suited my taste and seemed
a good value but I defer to the expertise of the collective:  Is Dalmore a
reasonable value at $30 if one enjoys the medium taste qualities?  I keep a
bottle of Bowmore but it's just TOO MUCH smoke for me.  What is YOUR best value
single malt?
