Hi Randall,
I've been lurking here for a while with an interest in "best value" single
malts. I did buy the Jackson book: "Single Malt Scotch" ISBN #
0-7624-0731-X and I've found it a great help in sorting out the 800 (!)
single malts reviewed. I'm enjoying Dalmore's 12 year old single at present
and I think it's a good value as is their "Cigar Malt" ($28) though it is a
blend.
