Ah, but that is the price you pay for living in a state that has
Wisconsin's long and proud history as the bastion of American socialism.
In fact, the Socialist Party of Wisconsin was 110 this year, and is older
than the national party!

Ahh, Buster, the socialist tendencies never end here in WI, either. Why, we
have free public schools through high school and reduced in-state tuition
for college after that. Get this, we have public police and fire
departments and many public hospitals. Would you believe that we have roads
here that are publicly owned? Not a privately owned toll road in the whole
damned state for some lucky capitalist to get rich on. Shameful.

Did you know that the local fire department operates a bunch of rescue
squads that respond to all fire calls and ambulance requests? That puts the
private fire departments right out of business. Hey, the city I live in
plows the snow off the streets instead of hiring private contractors to do
that. How can a profiteer make a fortune off of our tax dollars when that
happens? As a local businessman, it just pisses me off. I mean I would be
more than willing to pay higher taxes so somebody can get rich by profitting
off of these services. It's just un-American.

Can you imagine all of that? I'll bet it doesn't happen by you, does it?
