Funny that the same people who denied global warming years ago, confronted
with the inescapable reality today, have now taken the position that we can't
possibly do anything about it and should just adapt to the inevitable.

That would make sense ONLY if one assumes that the endpoint of global warming
is a temperature that is survivable.  Absent such evidence, doing anything
less than everything you can would be irresponsible.

Anyone taking bets?
