You're absolutely correct. Grok is the correct spelling. That fact came to me
shortly after I hit "send" - Oh well, my excuse is and will remain that it was
at least 20 years ago the last time I read that wonderful book. I'm much
better with quotes from old Monty Python (I Fart in your general direction!)
or Mel Brooks (What Knockers! Why Thank you Doctor) movies, or the first four
or so of the Casteneda books (I still walk with thumb to middle finger while
looking at the horizon, though I've pretty much given up trying to catch a
glimpse of Death over my left shoulder...), etc.
 
Yeah, I know I'm strange. Maybe that's part of why I drive a Spridget - I
don't give a crap if anybody is impressed, and I'm not trying to compensate
for a lack of anything.
