David,
Yeah, if you drive around Chicago every day, that prepares you for pretty 
much anything ;)
As for me, well, just call me a hay seed.  I grew up on a farm, still live 
out in the country, and don't tolerate traffic in built-up areas very well, 
at all.
The fall foliage, in western PA, will be at "peak" this weekend (is the Holy 
S.H.I.T. this weekend, or next?), so, you've picked a great way to enjoy it.
