Could be time to replace the damper.  If the rubber is shot the pulley (with
the timing mark) can rotate with respect to the crank causing timing to
shift....  Isn't that so, Glen?
Or, perhaps it could visit the damper doctor (damperdoctor.com) for a
rebuild.
