Subject: [Spridgets] thermostats and radiators

O wise group,

Guess that it is time to come out of lurking and get some questions
answered.
My'59 BE is in need of a radiator change
this year. Either I take it in and the core replaced or get one that was up
in
offer on this list. The aluminum one of special
creation. What has become of this item? I have not been able to follow this
list for I have been in and out of the hospital
quite a bit this year.

Second, I need to have a proper thermostat to put in the engine. It cannot
have the domed piece like the newer ones
have. Maybe there is a special housing cover to replace the existing one to
allow the use of the " domed"shaped ones?
Moss and VickyBrit don't seem to carry the correct one. Keep getting the
ones
for the newer cars although the correct is
shown. Called both after ordering the correct one pictured, but both
thermostats have same order number. Any ideas?
I have contacted Moss, UK, and requested further information.

Would like to do business with locals as we all would, any ideas of whom to
contact? Being in Wisconsin, just having
a blanking sleeve doesn't help the situation this time of the year. Waiting
for your wisdom. Thanks for your time and trouble.
