I autocrossed a Midget in graduate school in the late '60s, and had been 
running second and second and second for a very long time.  I took a girl to 
the races on our second date, and won for the first time ever.  So I took my 
trophy, quit racing, married the girl, and never raced again.  I still have 
that trophy in a closet in Honolulu.

And I still have the girl.
