[Spridgets] Dead Bugeye

Take the fuel line loose at the carb. Turn on the pump and see if you get
gas. If you do, it is not the pump. If not, put your finger over the fuel
line and see if it feels like you have air coming out. If so, the fuel line
is likely broken between the tank and the pump. Generally, if you can hear
the pump, it is working.
Good luck on the road. We have all been there.

Went to a 50s type car show today with the Bugeye. After leaving the house
found out the tank was dry. Made the Facet pump go crazy, but filled it up
and went to the show. Traveled at least 15 miles to the show with no
problem.
Car sat all afternoon. Just left the show and the car died. The fuel pump
is working, but sounds muted. Car acts like it is not getting gas, but the
fuel filter near the carb is full. What does a Facet pump sound like when
it is going bad? Clogged fuel line?
Mike MacLean stuck on the side of the road.
