[Spridgets] '66 Sprite, stock 1275, California car, overheating question

Radiator may have a leak so it doesn't pressurize properly?
Radiator core may need boiled out (channels plugged)?
Wrong thermostat?
Leaking radiator hose (how old are they?)
Water pump problems?

Just a few ideas...
