Here is the Whitney muffler that works.
You want the 19 inch version in inlet size you need.

You also have to bend the inlets and outlets slightly.
I had some large diameter bar stock I stuck in one end (in the vise)
and then bent it by sliding a lever bar into the other end 
of the muffler.  Easier than it sounds.

You also have to weld a L bracket to mount it in the rear.

I'm just posting this in case your guy has trouble finding a 
muffler to fit (or if someone else is interested)
