[Spridgets] freeze plug

The front plate on the 1275+0.04 engine I am building has a big hole that opens to a small hole into the water jacket.  I assume there should be a freeze plug there, but the guy who did my block did not put it in and I don't see one in the catalogue.  

There is a "freeze plug kit."  Is that kit supposed to have a small plug for the front of the water jacket?
