My guess is, no top under the  boot.

I think they said somewhere that the soft top was  missing.  That's the 
strange thing about the car.  They "seem" to have  put a lot of effort into it and 
want top dollar, but then leave things  undone...to soft top, bent bumper, 
brake booster "rebuilt' but not installed,  crappy dash, etc.
It's amazing that for a car that appeared so  neglected that it still had 
almost all the original, often missing parts...air  cleaner, fan shroud, booster, 
oil filter, etc.  I guess if you seldom open  the hood, things just don't 
disappear.
The body work does seem really nice.  It's  pretty hard to get a black car to 
look so straight. But as Tony says, who knows  what went into the body work 
repair.
