Tom's best run is 12.02 at 116 mph, I think.

He usually runs in the 12.30s at 114 mph range.

His Tiger has a 289 + .060 off the shelf cast pistons, Edelbrock
Performer RPM heads and intake, and flat tappet solid cam, 

Also a wide ratio Trans and 4.11 gears in a 9 inch Ford rear.

...and with 13" dia wheels and slicks under the unflaired fenders, single
metallic disc, 1800 # clutch, 

   he can lift the front wheels nicely!

  ...And THAT is ALL Throttle, without the bottle.

  ...He has NOS but has found that with a stick, it is more trouble than
it is worth, 
     
     plus it puts him in different class requiring more safety stuff.
