[Tigers] Headlight rim

Jerry and Bob
I just took a look at the headlight rims on my MK IA.

Both rims look the same with the screw position offset to the same side; no
marks to indicate part # or L or R side.
They appear to be interchangeable but I did not try that.

There are a couple different type of rims so we need to specify which style
we refer to.

There IS a right and left headlight rim, that's why one of them doesn't fit.

This may be a stupid question, but here goes. Is there a right and left
headlight rim for a MarkI/Ia or are they both the same?

I just got back from the painter and he was asking since the ones I have are

identical and they line up better on the passenger side than they do on the
driver side. There is also a significant gap at the bottom of the rim when
you line up the top and sides with the fender opening. Maybe it all kind of

evens out once everything is mounted.

Thanks,
Bob
