[Tigers] Engine question

Tom
The oil slinger, the round thin metal piece that goes between the
timing gear and timing cover on the crank.

Ford part # C3OZ-6310-B it is listed as an obsolete part but they may still
be available out there.

Your building a 302; are you sure you need the part? Maybe it depends on
the combination of parts you are using.
Is there an engine builder shop nearby you can ask?

I'm looking at my 1988 5.0L engine description and I don't see that part
listed. I'm no expert on this so I don't know how important it is or if it
is needed for your engine.

Subject: [Tigers] Engine question

Making slow but steady progress on my 302 conversion.

I can not find the crankshaft oil slinger in my collection of parts.

How badly needed is this part? I have been told many things.

Where can you find an obscure part like this? I doubt there is an after
market "high performance" slinger.

Thanks, Tom
