Ess - Not sure what point you are trying to make.  What Warren was saying is that cars that run in an autocross in the Stock category with quick racks have an unfair advantage over stock Tigers running stock racks and pinions.  I don't see how a reproduced air cleaner, clock face, ammeter, etc. gives a Tiger an advantage over cars without repo parts in an autocross or concours.  Parts wear out or fade and need to be replaced.  I doubt many folks would consider the stock Tigers to be only ones with original paint, original tires, original wiper blades, original paint, etc.


The quick racks were never stock parts - they could not be ordered through the dealerships, they were not LAT options.  A car with a quick rack should run in the Modified class in autocrosses, just like a Tiger with a stroker 331 engine with fuel injection.

Read the thread Warren, this started with the HSC Tiger in 1965, mine was made in 1976 this is just a current reproduction.
