[Tigers] transmission woes

FWIW, my Tiger has the wide ratio.  Dad used to say that 1st was good for
pulling out tree trunks, and little else.  Since I didn't drive it hardly
at all before the tranny switch, I can't say that I can confirm it.  But I
can say that I'm very happy with each gear and its usefulness.
