Given the same brake pad coefficient of friction and tire, a big brake kit will not stop your your car any faster for normal driving than the stock unit.  If your stock brake system is in good condition you can increase your stopping power with a higher coefficient street performance pad and higher performance tires.  A big brake kit only gives you additional brake cooling, thus improved braking in conditions where your brakes can get very hot, which is not common with normal driving. The Wilwood big brake kit is sexy, good quality and reasonably priced.  Knowing these facts, if you are a "mine is bigger than yours" type of guy and want to spend the money, go for it.
