#2 SteveK: I agree - what a terrific idea. And boy - what I'd give for a couple old geezer's machining classes. Anybody know where I can take one or two or whatever it takes?
Steve T: I have another idea for a project - a serpentine crankshaft pulley for a five-main MGB engine, along with a matching pulley for the water pump, would be on the top of my wishlist. Preferably, make the crankshaft pulley in the form of a harmonic balancer, but beggars cannot be choosers...
Steve K, you will need that octagonal socket when you get to working on your Magnette rear axle. Unlike you, I totally forgot I already had one of these and was looking for a hex wrench to do the trick. ' Bet I spent over a week looking for one before I realized even the right size wouldn't fit, AND that I already HAD ONE!!
If I get any more ideas, I'll share them!
Thanks,
Allen
