Try http://www.hirschauto.com/ - I have bought several kits and used them
both personally and on customer cars with no problems. Bill's product can
also be bought from Moss Motors (at a mark up . but that is the beauty of
capitalism!). Bill's specific page is
http://www.hirschauto.com/products.asp?dept=4. Follow the directions and
you will be fine.

Subject: [Zmagnette] Fuel tank sealer-Not entirely OT
It's the fuel tank on my Triumph motorbike, but I think it can be applied to
our cars. Anyhoo, I just welded up a leaky seam on the tank. There was a
little surface rust inside from all the soap and water rinses I've been
running through it, so I decided to clean the rust out, which I did with a
slurry of kerosene, ATF, and a couple of handfuls of roofing nails. After an
hour and a quarter of agitation the rust is gone and things are looking
good.
So, I decided I would like to use a tank sealant, but not having any
experience with any of the brands, or types, I'm wondering if anyone can
make suggestions or recommendations based on products they have used.
I think some of you have sealed or lined Magnette tanks. I would sure
appreciate any tips.
Thanks,
David
