Allen,

Barney Gaylord has a bunch of info on rebuilding the MGA steering 
rack.  I am not sure what the differences might be, but this should 
at least give you an idea of what is involved.  Here's one link, but 
there are some other pages as

are qualified people here who can rebuild a steering rack.  John 
Twist comes to mind.  I have no idea what he would charge, though.
