Hi list,
My name is Tom Hughes. My wife owns a 1960 Hillman Minx convertible, which I
owned in high school, rebuilt the engine and transmission and gave to her when
her VW blew up for the last time. I runs good when I can get the Lucas
electrics to work, the brakes are shot again and we still have not installed the
new top that is sitting in the garage. The engine has 10k miles on the rebuild
and the car has spent the last 15 years abused in California, minimal rust and
has been hogging all my garage space for the last 5 years.
If anyone has an interest in this car, my interest has waned sometime ago, I
will be happy to talk you into becoming the proud owner of a rare and vanishing
breed of rolling British automotive history. Yeah, right.
