Well, I think you are the only guy who has ever heard of Holbay engine
upgrades! I haven't but I'm not a real Alpine person...
I think I would rather have a Pinto engine (no offense Frank) than a hopped
up Alpine engine. I could be wrong but I've never heard about Alpine
engines lasting, Have heard alot about the oil pressure stopping closely
followed by the bearings, IF you hop it up it will only get worse, No?
I did help a friend put the throttle linkage back on a Series V, What a
goofy impossible setup! I forget but it was sandwiched between the carbs
and the manifold, or between the carbs and the air cleaners with bolts you
couldn't get to...?
